Hey bloggers, How's your Christmas going? I'm back home for the winter break, and I didn't realize how much I had missed Italy until I arrived! Yesterday we went to the market,

the people were so kind, and there was the warm,family spirit that you find in this traditional markets. Elderly people cracking jokes and the fruit sellers advertising their stand. I bought a bag of strawberries and cherries which I had being dying to eat since I was in KSA. They were delicious, and I plan on buying more today considering that i finished them in a matter of minutes! I decided to post a picture of everything I eat, so be ready:) Bye for now, Matilde

City Of Bones

Hey everyone, I feel bad that I have been neglecting my blog so here's what I've been up to: I started reading the "Mortal Instruments" series by Cassandra Clare, and I am loving it. The first book, "City Of Bones" was amazing. The novel is written in third person, and Cassandra did an amazing job in making the plot seem extremely realistic. Another thing I adore about the book it's its character, they are so well developed that by the end of the book you will probably fall in love with them. The book is about a fifteen year old girl, Clary Fray, who think she lives a normal life. Not knowing much about her past, Clary spends a lot of time with her best friend Simon (whom I love and no nerd could ever be as cool as him). Clary's life changes completely when she sees a scene that oddly enough only she can see. She meets Jace Wayland (the sarcastic hottie that will turn her life upside down, not in a Twilight way because she doesn't let Jace own her, but in another way!) It is a great book, I'm currently reading the second book of the series "City Of Ashes". I definitely recommend this book to everyone. Lot's of love, Matilde

Holidayss!!

Hey guys, what's up? I've been meaning to write on here but Tumblr is extremely addicting. For all the Directioners out there, I hope you are not still crying over Little Things because I am. Anyway, I still have 3 more days of holidays yay! :) I spent half my free time on Tumblr (it recently had a melt down because of Little Things and it was just hilarious and extremely emotional) and the other half reading "The Throne of Fire" by Rick Riordan which you all know is one of my favorite authors. The book is really good and I'm getting really into it so I set my self a goal, I have to finish it in 9 days and that leaves me 3 more days to finish it (i'll let you know how it goes ;) The other half (quarter??) of my holidays was spent watching Modern Family with my sister, i am totally loving that series too bad i didn't listen to my sis when she told me to watch it sooner! ;) Reminds me I still have a Sketchbook project due next week, probably should get started with that... I chose a theme tho: The Medici Family. I'll talk about it more on another post and post some pics of the drawings (when I get started and I dunno when that's gonna happen) Shouout to... ED SHEERAN for writing the most beautiful song in the whole entire universe! i love youuu so much :* ( if you don't know the song I'm talking about: Little Things sang by One Direction written be Ed ) until next post, matilde :) p.s I apologize for the craziness of this post.

She is now under treatment in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in the UK. I hope Malala will recover soon, and continue to pursue her dreams of helping her country.

I may not know much about politics but for MANY reasons I don't like our current president, I am truly sad that Capriles didn't make it to the presidency. All we can do now is hope. Thank you Capriles, for giving hope to a country without any. We love you flaco. Matilde, xx

Hey everyone, It's been such a long time since I've posted anything on my blog! I've been very busy but luckily my school's having a long weekend so that means 4 days of sleeping till late :p I've been reading so much, and I found some really amazing books! I've been really into Shakespeare lately, I began reading this book called "Shakespeare's Stories" I don't remember who the author is but it's a really great book, it has a journal of what Shakespeare's life might have been like and he's top ten greatest stories. They are not detailed, it just shows what the plot was like and it's great because you can understand what the story is about before you read the actual book. I also read TTYL and TTFN by Lauren Myracle, which are these book written like text messages about three best friends that try to keep their friendship without having HIgh School tear them apart! It different from what I usually read, but I liked it and I thought it was a fun reading. and back to... Percy Jackson!! I never did finish reading "Percy Jackson and the battle of the labyrinth" so that's what I am doing now!! I loved all the other Percy Jackson book's so I'm pretty sure I will also love this one! I love this books so much because I think that greek mythology is super interesting! That's what I've been up to, excluding the school part!! Oh and I also bought the book "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire which I can't wait to get started on ;) Until next post, Matilde

Here's the trailer of the latest book I read. It's by Jacqueline Wilson. I loved the book! It was very funny but, like most Jacqueline Wilson's books, very sad. I love Jodie, she's NOTHING like me but CrAzY and funny!! I hated the ending, why did it have to be that way?!? I know it has a reason but it's still not fair!
I totally recommend this book!

FINALLY, tomorrow is the last day of school! I'm so glad ;)It's been such a long year and I can't wait to go back to Italy and visit all of my friends!

11 Designers Sketch Katniss's Fire Dress in 'Hunger Games' By Charlotte Ronson, I think it is beautiful! Very well detailed just like Katniss described it in the book! 9/10 ;) I won't give it a ten because I just don't think it's as impressing as it should be! By Christian Siriano, it's very bold! I love it! 9/10 because even if it is gorgeous this is not my Katniss ;) By Tommy Hilfiger, It is stunning but I'll give it an 8/10 because I just don't think is as powerfull as it should be...I love Tommy don't get me wrong ;) by Rachel Roy, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT 10/10 it's perfect! She even included the Mockingjay pin on the boot ;) The colors, the skirt it's just marvelous! By Tadashi Shoji, I don't think it's The girl on Fire dress from the book! It's a very beautiful dress but more suited for the red carpet than for Katniss ;) I'll give it a 6/10. By Nicole Miller, it's very very striking! I love the suit and the flames, it's a 9/10 ;) By Christian Cota, I love it! Very Cinna ;) It's a 9/10 for me! By, Tibi I honestly don't really like it :( It's not as striking like it should be. It's a 5/10 for me... sorry Tibi! By Erin Fetherston, it's my favorite! It's absolutely amazing, It's simple, elegant and STRIKING. Favorite Writers

Hi everybody, I've recently updated my list of favorite writers so here it goes: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In first place, Suzanne Collins writer of "The Hunger Games". This book and the second one "Catching Fire" (I'm recently reading "Mockinjay")are by far my favorites. They are a 10/10. Suzanne Collins writes with so much detail it feels like if you are in the arena with Katniss and Peeta. I have to admit that I did cry one or two times reading "The Hunger Games"! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In second place, Roald Dahl that I'm sure will forever stay in my top three favorite writers. I don't have a favorite book by Roald Dahl they are all extremely amazing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In third place, well... it's hard to choose which writer suits my third place. It's been fight between Jacqueline Wilson and Rick Riordan. Hey guys, What's up? Me and my family moved city again and now we are in Saudi Arabia! I'm so exited to post about all the things I'll be seeying so I'll better start charging my camera!!! Gossip Girl's 6th Season

Hey Upper East Siders :P I'm happy to say that there is gonna be a 6th season of Gossip Girl! Lately I've hated how the series if going, Dan and Blair..Serena alone... But yesterday I read from Blake Lively's blog and it's official: Gossip Girl is going to have a 6th season and that has to mean that things are gonna change but I personally don't want Blair and Chuck back together :'( She was so mean!!

KONY 2012

Kony 2012

Hello everybody,
A few days ago I came across the video of KONY 2012 thanks to one of my friends from Singapore.
After seeing the movie I was shocked that we were letting something so horrible happen.

Joseph Kony is one of the world's worst criminals in 1987 he took over leadership of an existing rebel group and renamed it LORD'S RESISTANCE ARMY, he started abducting childrens from their home and turning them into soldiers for his army.

THE LRA HAS ABDUCTED MORE THAN 30,000 CHILDREN AND DISPLACED AT LEAST 2.1 MILLION PEOPLE.

The U.S. Military Advisers are currently deployed in central Africa on a "Time-Limited" mission to stop Kony and disarm the LRA. Kony has to be captured this year.

The Invisible Children's KONY 2012 campaing is trying to make Kony famous not to celebrate him but to raise support for his arrest.

This year my class decided to make a news-paper and I decided to write an article about fashion.

For some time, we can see many kids wearing the shoes Nike Air Force, but it's already that from last year there isn't a girl or boy that doesn't own on pair or more of the Adidas L.A Trainers. You can find them in any combination of colors from black and fucsia to blue and white. Will the Nike AIr Force be able to win the challenge? I asked some of my class mates and here is what they said: "I decided to buy the Nike Air Force because they have a more original model." answered Cristina... Another boy from my class commented: "I like more the Adidas L.A Trainers because they are prettier."
Even if these two are the shoes of the 'moment' don't be afraid go out of the group and make your own trends with the shoes you like.

P.S I decided to write about this two shoes because they are the most popular in my school right now, but I don't particularly like them.

Romeo and Juliet

Hey guys,
A few days ago I watched Romeo and Juliet at school. I've always known the story of "Romeo and Juliet" and I've always found it very romantic is just so unfair that they both die at the end. No matter how many times I watch the movie I always have a bit of hope that the won't die! They are so young and their love is so strong.
The version I saw was with Olivia Hussey and Leonardo Whiting and I've been meaning to watch the one with Leonardo Di Caprio but my mum said is very violent so I guess I'll have to wait!

Gossip Girl is BACK

Finally after the holiday break "Your one and only source into the scandalous life of Manhattan's Elite" is back!



That's Blair up there wearing her Vera Wang wedding dress getting merried to Loui. And I'm still hoping that Chuck Bass will enter the church running and shouting "Stop the wedding" :( Blair and Chuck are meant to be together.
The 100 episode let me down, I thought the something was going to happen between Blair and Chuck but nothing did...things just got worse. It was very sad :S Oh, well.. Please GG let them be together <3

The Addams Family

Yesterday was the 100 anniversary of Charles Addams. I love the Addams Family and while I was in New York me and my family went to see the Broadway Show "Addams Family" starring Brooks Shields! It was a 10/10! We enjoyed it so much and the actors were great.



The show was very funny! My favorite part was when Wednesday (Rachel Potter) sang Pulled.
